MKHTMIDX, Make HTML Index

Searches the current directory for all HTML files and subdirectories, and builds an HTML index file called "index.htm" which contains a link to each HTML file and subdirectory. If an index file already exists, its file information will preserved in the new index.

Usage: mkhtmidx

If a thumbnail file exists in the current directory it will be incorporated into the displayed heading of the index that is generated.

If the "index.htm" file already exists and it contains attributes in the "<BODY>" tag (e.g. "BGCOLOR=white"), the attributes will be preserved in the newly created index file. Otherwise, if a background file exists in the current directory it will be used as the background image for the index that is generated. Remember, since all attributes in the "<BODY>" tag are preserved, if you delete the background image for the current directory, the reference to it will not automatically be deleted. You must delete it manually.

If a "keyicons.txt" file exists in the "icons" subdirectory, the appropriate keyword icons will appear after each index entry.
