Quick Start

Here's the quickest way to create a browsable list of images. You need a bunch of .jpg or .gif image files to start with.

Create a new empty directory (folder).
Copy your .jpg and/or .gif files into the directory.
Create a file called "makeindx.bat" in the directory and edit it to contain the single line: @mkhtmset
Copy the entire "icons" directory from your installation directory to the new directory you just created. You can do this in Windows Explorer by dragging the "icons" directory from the installation directory to your new directory while holding down the "Ctrl" key on the keyboard.
Run "makeindx.bat" by double-clicking on it from Windows Explorer. This will create a bunch of .htm files, including one "index.htm" file.
Double-click on the "index.htm" file to invoke your browser, and view the files.
