Starting Directory
The Starting Directory is the top-most directory in the system level
directory hierarchy.
It contains the top-level index for the entire system
level directory hierarchy.
It also contains the icons subdirectory
which is shared by all subdirectories in the directory hierarchy.
The starting directory may also contain the index database
which contains search information for all HTML files in the system.
Below is an example of a typical starting directory. You can click on the
items in the diagram for more information about each item.
The "Slide Set #" folders represent directories that contain directory level files.
The names of these directories may be changed.
The "makeall.bat" file is a script which invokes the maketree command.
The name of this file may also be changed.
All other files must be named as shown.
